Stick

Sticks are crafted from two planks stacked vertically and are required for nearly every tool and weapon recipe. You also need sticks for torches, signs, fences, ladders, and bows. Because sticks are consumed in large numbers, set up a small plank-to-stick crafting loop near your base.
